BEAR GPT versus ChatGPT for chart screenshots

BEAR GPT Education · Updated 2026-10-21 · Educational, not financial advice

ChatGPT can talk about a chart if you paste one. BEAR GPT only does that job, and it returns a fixed shape: bias, key levels, both scenarios, and a take, wait, or avoid verdict. Neither one is a broker, and neither one makes the next candle safe. This page is the difference in the writing, not a claim that one of them can see the future.

Same kind of model, different job

A general chat model is built to continue a conversation. Ask it about a chart and it will often produce a confident plan, then a follow-up plan, then a third if you sound disappointed. The conversation rewards agreement. Your account does not.

BEAR GPT is pointed at one artifact, the screenshot, and one output. It is not there to coach your psychology for an hour or to role-play a desk. The narrowness is the point. A narrow answer is easier to check against the candles you can see.

If you want open-ended brainstorming about markets, a general chat is the better room. If you want a read you can decline in under a minute, that is the BEAR GPT room. You can use both. Do not let either of them click.

Invented tools

A general model, asked what the RSI says, will sometimes answer even when no RSI is drawn. It is completing a pattern from training, not measuring your pixels. That sentence can sound specific. Specific is not the same as visible.

BEAR GPT is instructed to stay with market structure, support and resistance, and drawings that are already on the screenshot. Fibonacci comes up only when it is on the image. Oscillators that are not on the image stay off the page. If a read mentions a tool you cannot see, treat that line as a defect and discount it.

This is a discipline, not a magic property of the brand name. Any model can drift. The check is always the same: is the level on the picture in front of you.

The right to say wait

General chats are polite. Polite tools hesitate to tell you to do nothing, because nothing feels like a failed answer. In trading, nothing is often the only professional answer. Mid-range price, a messy crop, a spike you do not understand: those are waits and avoids.

BEAR GPT treats wait as a finished verdict and writes the reason. You are supposed to be able to close the page. The fear underneath a forced trade is usually the fear of missing, or the shame of the last loss. A sentence that says wait gives that feeling somewhere to stop.

ChatGPT will say wait if you insist. The difference is that you have to insist. A product that waits only when you beg it to wait is a product that will agree with you on the days you are most dangerous to yourself.

What neither product knows

Neither model knows your position size, your broker's stop distance, the news in ten minutes, or whether you are revenge trading. They do not know if the symbol on the axis is the contract you will actually fill. You can lose some or all of the capital you risk after a beautiful paragraph.

BEAR GPT says this in the product, on the disclaimer, and in the verdict itself. A chat model says it if the system prompt remembers. Read the risk page either way. Education is not a license.

There is also no published win rate here worth believing. Be wary of any comparison table that quotes one. A sample of your own declined trades will teach you more than a leaderboard.

A fair way to compare them yourself

Use one screenshot. Ask the general chat for a plan. Upload the same image to BEAR GPT. Put both answers next to the chart, not next to each other. Which levels can you touch with a finger. Which answer invented a tool. Which answer allowed you to do nothing.

Keep the one you can audit. Discard the one that only sounds sure. Five BEAR GPT reads are free, so the comparison does not require a subscription and does not require you to place either idea.

Prompts that make a general chat worse

Asking a chat model to be more confident, to give a win rate, or to choose long or short in one word pushes it toward the sentence you wanted. You will get a cleaner order and a worse description. If you use a general chat at all, ask it to list what it cannot see on the image. The hesitation is the useful part. The entry is the part you should distrust first.

Asking it to critique a BEAR GPT read is fair if you paste the screenshot too. Without the image, the critique is a style opinion about your paragraph. With the image, you can demand the same test: which level is visible, which tool was invented, and whether wait was allowed. If the critique only upgrades your idea into a bigger idea, throw the critique away.

Do not ask either tool what it would do with your rent money. That question invites a personality. You need a level and a refusal. BEAR GPT is the narrower of the two on purpose. Narrow is easier to check when you are emotional, which is when you most want a friend in the chat box.

What this is not

  • Not a signal to buy, sell, or size a position.
  • Not a promise that the next candle will respect a level.
  • Not a substitute for your own invalidation and your own risk.
  • Not financial, investment, or trading advice in any country.

Questions people ask

Is BEAR GPT just ChatGPT with a trading prompt?

It is a vision read with a fixed output: bias, levels, both scenarios, and a take, wait, or avoid verdict. A general chat will keep talking. The check is whether the levels are on your screenshot.

Which one is more accurate?

Neither is a forecast. Compare them by what you can see on the image. Accuracy of a story you cannot audit is not accuracy.

Can I paste a BEAR GPT read back into ChatGPT?

You can. You will often get a longer story that agrees with you. That is not a second opinion. It is a sequel.
