Crypto chart analysis from a screenshot

BEAR GPT Education · Updated 2026-10-21 · Educational, not financial advice

Crypto chart analysis starts from the same candles as any other market, with worse manners. Bitcoin and ether trade all week, wick through levels at thin hours, and reprint a narrative every time the candle is green. BEAR GPT can read the screenshot. It cannot make a weekend wick honorable. If the structure is mid-range or a spike, the read should say wait or avoid.

Thin hours and dramatic wicks

A crypto screenshot from a quiet hour can show a long wick that will never trade again, or a wick that becomes the level everyone quotes. You cannot know which from the image alone. What you can know is whether there is a shelf of pauses or a single dramatic print. Prefer the shelf. Treat the single print as a maybe, not as an entry.

Perpetual swaps and spot charts are not the same picture. If your screenshot is the perp, say so to yourself before you imagine a spot fill. Funding, liquidations, and the exchange's wick rules do not appear in a candlestick crop. BEAR GPT will describe the candles it was given. It will not invent the liquidation map you wish it had seen.

Altcoins gap in spirit even when they print every minute. A level from a large cap does not transfer to a thin coin because the pattern rhymes. Upload the coin you mean. Decline the read if the scale is a vertical line with no pauses. That chart is a story about liquidity, not a map of support.

The feeling of missing the coin

Crypto's public mood is that hesitation is expensive. That mood is how people buy the third green candle and call it analysis. A wait verdict on a BTC screenshot that is stuck between two obvious shelves is not timidity. It is the location. You can still be bullish on a decade and flat on this hour.

After a liquidation wick, the urge is to catch the reversal because the wick looks finished. Sometimes it is. The invalidation on those trades is violent and close. If you cannot name the price that means you are early rather than right, you are guessing with a caption. Avoid is allowed.

BEAR GPT writing both scenarios matters more here than on a slow forex range, because one scenario is often a social-media sentence you have already read. The other scenario is the one that keeps the account. Read that one first.

A clean crypto brief

Show the symbol, the exchange if it is printed, and the timeframe. Include enough history that the last pump is not the entire chart. Hide the drawings you copied from a stranger. If you want those drawings discussed, leave them and then audit them. A line is not real because it was on the image. It is real if price reacted.

Compare a daily crop and an intraday crop before you let the small clock talk you into a size the daily chart would call noise. The product can lean toward scalp, intraday, or swing from what you upload. That lean is not permission to trade every candle. The read says wait still ends the job.

Bitcoin, ether, and everything thinner

BTC and ETH screenshots are usually readable: pauses exist, the scale is familiar, and a shelf is a shelf. That familiarity is how people skip the audit. Still put a finger on the quoted level. A round number like a clean thousand is only support if the candles paused there. If they did not, the model liked the roundness. You do not have to.

Smaller coins often have a chart that is a staircase of gaps in liquidity. A support line through three wicks on a thin book is a story about the last buyers, not a floor. If the screenshot is mostly one-candle spikes and empty ranges, the verdict should be avoid, and if it is not, override it toward avoid yourself. You are allowed to be stricter than the draft. You are not allowed to be looser and then call it the model's fault.

Leverage is invisible on a spot-looking chart of a perp. A level that is one percent away is a different product at ten times leverage than at one. BEAR GPT will not compute your liquidation. If you cannot say, in money, what the invalidation costs on the instrument you will actually click, you do not have a crypto plan. You have a screenshot and a multiple. Do that arithmetic before you argue with a wait. A wait you cannot afford to override is the read doing the job the leverage slider will not do for you.

Weekend, funding, and the urge to be early

Sunday evening and late Saturday wicks are a common place to invent a reversal. Upload them if you want a description. Do not demand a take. The book is thin, the wick is long, and the Monday cash in other markets has not spoken. Wait is not fear of missing a coin. It is respect for a chart that has not built a shelf yet.

If funding or open interest is part of your idea, it has to be on the image or in a separate note you wrote yourself. Do not ask the read to imply it. A candle cannot confess the positioning behind it. The educational use of BEAR GPT on crypto is the same as everywhere else: bias, levels, both scenarios, verdict. The casino feeling around the market is yours to set down. The read says wait when the structure is not there, including when the timeline says the move is now.

What this is not

  • Not a signal to buy, sell, or size a position.
  • Not a promise that the next candle will respect a level.
  • Not a substitute for your own invalidation and your own risk.
  • Not financial, investment, or trading advice in any country.

Questions people ask

Does BEAR GPT only read Bitcoin?

No. Any crypto chart you can screenshot. Thin markets produce worse levels. Decline those reads.

Can it see funding or liquidations?

Only if that information is drawn on the image. It does not connect to an exchange.

What about a weekend chart?

Read it as a thinner session. A single wick is a weaker level than a shelf. Wait is a serious answer.
